This is an old computer someone disposed. It's fine for my purposes and a
lot faster than my Celeron 466MHz bases PC.
It has been refitted into a new cabinet and has the following hardware at
the moment:
The Hollywood MPEG card only works in Windows 98 and Linux. Actually it
works best in Linux even though the driver originates from reverse
engeneering the Windows driver...
This card has one flaw. It only supports viewing on the computer monitor via
overlay. Also it would be really nice if Creative would hand out the specs
*sigh*
The BIOS sucks. It doesn't really support ACPI and there are no updates from Compaq/HP. This means that both Linux and FreeBSD runs with ACPI disabled. FreeBSD is able to boot with ACPI enabled and seems to find the information needed but freezes when X is started.
